Student Jobs

The library is one of the largest student employers on campus.  We employ student assistants throughout the year including summer sessions.

Duties performed by library student workers include:

  • Staffing the Service Desk, checking out books and assisting patrons.
  • Processing and shelving books.
  • Scanning and digitizing library materials for special projects.
  • Assisting with library systems maintenance.

Undergraduates

  • You must have federal work-study to apply for a library job (therefore you must be a U.S. citizen or resident alien).
  • To apply for a student aide position, download and complete the Application Form and Hours Available Sheet (which are also available at the service desk).
  • If your application is of interest, you will be contacted by the library.

Graduates

  • You must be enrolled as a full time student and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
