Springer publishes almost all the conference proceedings that are not par of the IEEE and ACM. In addition it publishes leading textbooks in Math, CS, EE and the general sciences. I have used their textbooks in my courses in each of the eleven years I have taught at Poly. Access to this resource would significantly enhance both the faculty and student experience at Poly.
Too bad it ends on May 31st... It would be nice to have these references on a permanent basis.
Prof. Cahill and Hong: Thank you for your comments. We will certainly take them into consideration. You should know that we are now collaborating with our colleagues at NYU to bring you these and many other resources on permanent basis.
I concur with Mr. Cahill and Mr. Hong: Springer is a major resource for CS materials that are either not published by the IEEE or ACM or are complementary materials to those publishers. The significance of the Springer holdings can't be overstated.
