Change the World - Win $10,000!

The IEEE Presidents' Change the World Competition recognizes students who develop unique solutions to real-world problems using engineering, science, computing and leadership skills to benefit their community and/or humanity. ieeecontestIdentify a global or local problem, develop a solution, then explain how you have made a positive impact in the world. You could win $10,000 and attend the 2009 IEEE Honors Ceremony in Los Angeles, California. The contest offers students the perfect opportunity to have their ingenuity and enthusiasm for engineering and technology recognized by IEEE members around the globe.  Winners will receive awards ranging from the grand prize of $10,000 to runner-up prizes of $5,000, $2,500 and $1,000 awards. You can compete as an individual or a team, but there must be at least one IEEE student member on the team at the time of entry. Review complete rules and judging criteria.  Submit your entry by February 28, 2009!
