Questions about using electronic resources shared with NYU?

From the moment the agreement to merge NYU and Polytechnic was signed, librarians on both campuses have been working to establish access to newly shared electronic resources. Providing access to these new resources involves both technical and licensing considerations, thus it will not occur overnight. The Dibner Library has already added several new electronic resources to its collection and is gradually introducing many more. As part of the NYU-Poly community, you must access all electronic resources from the Dibner Library web site, not the NYU library web site. When searching certain databases, you may come across this button: . Please ignore it (unless searching from within Bobst Library) as it will lead you to a page that requires a NYU NetID and password. The full text of the article may be available in another database, but you must access it through the Dibner Library web site. Please ask a Dibner librarian to assist you in locating the article or you may request it through interlibrary loan. The turnaround time for receiving journal articles is generally 1-3 days. We are continually trying to improve your access to information as we move forward with integrating Dibner Library's resources with NYU's. Thank you for your patience during this period of transition. Read more about using NYU libraries. Please leave a comment if you have any questions or concerns or contact Dibner Library.
