SpringerMaterials
The world's largest resource for physical and chemical data, SpringerMaterials consists of 91,000 online documents and 165,000 substances and material systems. It is based on Landolt-Bornstein, the unique data collection in all areas of physical sciences and engineering. You can search for substance/element systems, properties, molecular formulas, and chemical abstract registry numbers. Watch the online demo to learn more.
GREENR
If you are looking for the latest on emerging green-technology or need an primer on climate change, GREENR is the database for you. This one-stop shop for all things "green" delivers fresh content daily in an attractive, easy to use interface. GREENR is an interdisciplinary portal that combines news, audio, video, primary source documents images, conference reports and more. You can easily refine your search by subject and document type or you can browse the pre-defined subject portals. For more in depth research, you can limit your results to include only peer-reviewed, full text journal articles.
FAITS
Faulkner's Advisory for IT Studies (FAITS) is designed to help students and instructors learn and keep pace with the emerging technologies and products driving the IT, security, and communications industries. Instead of articles, you'll find reports, tutorials, standards, company profiles and other practical resources covering areas such as wireless technology, IT security and data networking.
SMP
Also from Faulkner, Security Management Practices (SMP) offers real-world reports for helping IT and security students and faculty understand today's complex security and business challenges. Each month, a new report exploring critical issues in all aspects of security is released. SMP covers issues like: ethical hacking, effective use of encryption technology, and information security management.
