Reinventing the Research Library
Libraries are changing. While the Dibner Library serves as a popular place for students to meet and study, its services and collections reach beyond the confines of its walls to meet the needs of a increasingly mobile and global community. The video below is from MIT, but the evolving role of libraries to support research, teaching, and student life is one that all academic libraries can relate to.
Here at Dibner Library, we continually strive to build our services and collections to better support the needs of NYU-Poly students and faculty. Here is a small sample of services we offer:
- A growing collection of online Research Guides And Tutorials to get you started in the right direction.
- Classroom Support services for faculty including workshops, blackboard help, e-reserves, and more.
- A wide array of Electronic Resources, such as journals, newspapers and e-books, which can be accessed from anywhere at anytime.
- Archives and Special Collections documenting the rich history of NYU-Poly.
- Our News Blog provides an up-to-date account of the library's latest acquisitions, useful research tips, and news on topics of interest to the NYU-Poly community.
