The library website has gone mobile!
UPDATE: You will now be automatically redirected to our mobile site when you visit library.poly.edu on your phone.
Rejoice smart phone users—your days of pinching and dragging are over! You can now access a mobile version of the library website that puts our most commonly used features in an easy to use mobile-friendly format.
No longer do you have to pinch and squint to check when we are open—library hours are right up front at the top of the site. Need to reserve a study room or ask us a question? No problem, you can easily take care of that from the palm of your hand. In addition, the site features all our databases that have mobile-friendly interfaces, as well as our online research guides. You can also keep up to date with the latest by checking our news feed, facebook and twitter accounts.
To start off, the library's mobile site is simple, but we have more features coming down the pike. We're working on adapting PolyCat to be mobile-friendly so you can renew books and search for new ones to borrow. Further down the road we hope to introduce a responsive version of the entire library website so that all of our content can be easily accessible from a mobile device.
Take a moment to check out the mobile site at library.poly.edu/mobile and let us know what you think. Is there something missing that you would like to see included? What do you think you'll end up using the site for the most? Or, are you content using the library website on a computer? Your input will help us provide the features you want, so don't be shy! Leave a comment or fill out this brief mobile survey.
