GPO Access
Official information from the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the Federal Government. Allows searching across multiple databases. A service of the U.S. Government Printing Office.

GPO's Federal Digital System (FDsys)
Provides public access to Government information submitted by Congress and Federal agencies.

EDGAR (SEC Filings & Forms)
EDGAR, the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system, performs automated collection, validation, indexing, acceptance, and forwarding of submissions by companies and others who are required by law to file forms with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

USA.gov
The U.S. Government's official web portal and search engine to all things government.

FedStats
Provides access to the full range of official statistical information produced by the Federal Government. You can browse by topic, program area, agency or search by keyword.

FedWorld.gov
The online locator service for information disseminated by the Federal Government. Managed by the National Technical Information Service (NTIS). Includes easy access to supreme court decisions, and other top government websites.

GovEngine.com
A vast collection of federal, state and local government web sites organized by state and level of government. Compiled by a Florida non-profit corporation.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
Tax and finance help for individuals, businesses, non-profits and tax professionals. Tax forms and publications are available free from this site.

National Science Foundation
An independent federal agency created by Congress to promote the progress of science.  NSF is the funding source for approximately 20 percent of all federally supported basic research conducted by America’s colleges and universities.  Learn about grants, awards, career opportunities.

National Security Archive
An independent non-governmental research institute and library located at The George Washington University, the Archive collects and publishes declassified documents. The Archive also serves as a repository of government records on topics pertaining to the national security, foreign, intelligence, and economic policies of the United States.

National Technical Information Service (NTIS)
The largest central resource for government-funded scientific, technical, engineering, and business related information. Many records now include free links to the full-text publication on an agency's web site, or can be downloaded directly from the NTIS archival copy for a nominal charge.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

Science.gov
A gateway to authoritative selected science information provided by U.S. Government agencies including research and development results.

THOMAS

University of Michigan Library Documents Center
A central reference and referral point for government information, whether local, state, federal, or international. Serves as a reference and instructional tool for government, political science, statistical data, and news.
