Borrow and Renew
You can borrow library materials at the Service Desk using your NYU-Poly ID card. Reference materials may not by checked out of the library. You can return items you borrowed from NYU Bobst or Courant Library to Dibner Library.

* Only one course reserve item may be borrowed at a time.
Renewing Materials
General Collection
Books from the general collection may be renewed at the Service Desk or online by logging in to your Library Account. You can not renew an item that is overdue. If you have trouble logging into your library account, contact us.
Course Reserves
Course Reserve materials are not renewable. To ensure everyone has access to course reserves, there is a fifteen minute waiting period before you can check out an item after returning it.
Interlibrary Loan
Renewals must be requested before the due date and are subject to approval.
Fines
All patrons of the Dibner Library are subject to overdue fines as outlined below. It is the borrower's responsibility to be aware of due dates. You will receive an email notice when an item is overdue.
Fines may be paid in cash at the Service Desk. Fines in excess of $30.00 and overdue books not returned by the end of the semester will result in a block on your account and prevent you from registering for classes or graduating until your account is cleared.
