Laptop Loans

Current NYU-Poly students, faculty and staff may borrow a laptop from the service desk for a three hour period. Laptops are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You may take the laptop out of the library, but not off the NYU-Poly Brooklyn campus.

The laptops are equipped with a wide range of software. Details about software, checkout procedure, guidelines for use, liability and fines are available in the Laptop Loan Agreement (PDF).

Workstations

Dibner Library offers fifteen PC and eight Apple computer workstations available for use by students, faculty, and staff.  Access is first-come, first-served and there is no time limit on computer use. All computers are equipped with Microsoft Office, Google Chrome, and Adobe Reader. 

Wireless Access

Wireless access for your laptop or other mobile device is available throughout the NYU-Poly campus.  Instructions on how to connect to Poly-WiFi are available on the Information Systems website.  For further assistance, please contact the Information Systems Help Desk.
